  • Just got this today used and am loving it,been trying to score an EHX Holy Grail but they are scarce in these parts, and the nano version is not even close, tried this out with my combo body contact/light theremin box,and it is so much more versatile than the Holy Grail, the sound is rich and warm, and it is very tweakable, the Feedback knob can create some nice oscillating whines or straight up feedback that can be increased and decreased by twisting the knob.I took it home and tried it with contact mics and different effects along with the box and this thing can go from short sharp crashing sounds to cavernous reverberations. It is quiet,no sound from hitting the foot switch(i.e. no audible pops etc.) This thing has a solid feel and brass foot switch and in/out jacks. The only bad part of the construction is the battery cover,it is plastic, which is alright in itself, but it is not recessed and is on the bottom, there are no rubber feet to raise the pedal up so it rests on the battery cover, but this is easily remedied,I will just get a set of rubber feet and stick em on. I am glad I could not get a holy grail no,since I paid about the same as a new Grail for a pedal that has so many more options sound wise, this thing is true bypass, and endlessly tweakable.
  • Good Points: Solid construction. A lot of options as far as reverb sounds. Very hands on tweakable for those that like to twist knobs. True bypass and very quiet. Can change from spring to cavernous with the twist of a knob. Feedback knob adds a whole new dimension to the reverb pedal.
  • Bad Points: Battery compartment not protected so well.
  • Price Paid: US$119.00
  • Purchased At: An evil chain...but not much option where I live.
