  • ok first of all, let me tell you that i'm an analog freak. i swore never to use "digital crap" in my pedal chain. then i found this baby, all beat up and rusty. BIG SURPRISE, WOW. this baby is VERY versatile and warm sounding, almost analog. select between Short, Medium or Long delays, and then adjust to your taste. Nice natural decay, you'd believe it IS analog! i use it at the end of my pedal chain and i don't leave to a gig without it. the only cons are that it EATS batteries, so i'd recommend always using a power supply (i use the power-all)... and it's a pity that it ain't got a stereo out. i'd like to mod it for one, but i'm afraid i'll screw up. this pedal is old but it's GREAT. don't spend 0 on a new Boss (nothing wrong with them!) if you can still find these for a decent price. good luck, rock on!
  • Good Points: Great (almost) analog sounds. VERY verstatile. Built like a tank.
  • Bad Points: It EATS batteries (use an adapter then!) Not stereo (BUMMER)! Getting rare and expensive.

  • this was the first FX I've bought and it is the most used unit. long delaytime and a very high feedback rate. It turns every audio into mud :-). at short delaytimes and higher feedback it will be self-oscillating and make some hi noise. (sorry for my english :-/)
  • Good Points: very flexible and robust. very good for polyrhythmic at lower feedback rate.
  • Bad Points:
  • Price Paid: US$70.00
  • Purchased At: store in 1996
