  • The most basic distortion you will ever find. I would only suggest using it at the start/second of a chain for a early boost in the sound.
  • Good Points: Decent boost, real cheap.
  • Bad Points: One trick pony, and the trick kind of sucks. Kind of ugly looking.
  • Price Paid: US$15.00

  • Cheap ,simple ,fugly that's the danelectro way. I picked this up on ebay for next to nothing, it actually has some pretty decent bang for the buck. The distortion you get from this pedal is kinda high endy, not a lot of bottom. It makes a nice grating ,bowel scraping noise. Not as brutal as say the digitech deathmetal or the metalzone. Ultimatly it works well as a booster when you want to add another level of sickness to your loop. As with most pedals in this price range (i.e. super ultra cheap) it's made of plastic ,has platic knobs and looks like ass. It's simple three knob design keeps the knobs away from your feet. Altogether it's not a bad pedal ,lacks a bit of the total brutality I like, but would work nice for droning , ambient stuff.
  • Good Points: Cheap, cheap decent distortion easy to use, a monkey could have this thing mastered before lunch
  • Bad Points: Plastic kinda ugly almost dainty
