in my expierience, sustainers/compressors don't usually work too well for noise, but this one has a distortion built in too, no bass response but it's a good high pitched buzzz...i didn't find it too helpful in a feedback loop, lack of bass response, just killed my signal, it's a performer series so look far and wide for those adapters or else it's two!! 9 volts!!yikes
Good Points: solid constuction, not as cheap as regular dods but still under a franklin,
Bad Points: sustainer hungry...mmmmmm...batteries....
